Ruby…

Friend of mine has been complaining for months that her boyfriend never cooks a meal for her so I did.

Salad:

A bed of baby spinach

Topped with a handful of grape tomatoes, thinly sliced zucchini, cut up sweet peppers, a sprinkle of dried cranberries, a small dollop of her favourite dressing and a sprinkle of grated cheese

Soup: carrot and ginger with a swirl of cream and a sprinkle of parsley

Main course: poached salmon with grilled veggies

Desert was a layer of melted chocolate with sherry topped with a small scoop of cherry ice cream

I actually think Rube is a very good friend to Flo.

At least she doesn’t tell lies about her! Haha. I actually do believe she might have made Andy ill with her cooking. I know. Terrible aren’t I?

Yes the “Addicting” one mostly.

The strip was quite funny though. But I really didn’t expect that from Rube! Guess Flo won’t invite her along to Bingo tonight.

That sounds lovely. Did you take Connie to Rabat then? Haha.

I have just come back from an Awards Ceremony and it was absolutely amazing. Before you ask, no I didn’t win an award but one of my colleagues did. He was one of my advisors when I was unemployed so I am especially proud and happy for him.

Going to put some photos on Facebook later… Auntie’s demands. Haha.

It has been raining all day today but It’s meant to be sunny on Saturday.

I’m not going to bother with the rest of my “Toon Tour” on GoComics today because I’m knackered. Just Andy Capp today.

I prefer it when Flo can cook better than Andy’s girlfriends.
