Way to spill the beans off the toast with that remark, Chalkie (also much to Andy’s chagrin).

@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp with friends like Chalkie does not need any enemies , instead of stating Andy’s virtues he adds on to the list of cheating thus adding insult to injury o) , my avatar today is a picture of yours and mine fav actor Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean wishing all Cappers past and present a nice day how was your day ? our Sunday should be busy but calm I hope , have fun and come back to commenting please , we miss you.

Andy’s lucky he’s living in the UK where no one comes to a card game wearing a gun on their belt. He could have been born in the U.S. in the “Old West”.

I’ve had to miss Go Comics for the past two days. This is because I was working extra hours and away from home. I was working in Sandbach, Cheshire, whereas I live in Chester, Cheshire.

For those interested in British pubs with unusual names, I had a drink in “The Cobbles” named after its cobbled square, “The Lower Exchequer” and “Ye Olde Black Beare Inn”. The last of these was established in 1634 and is the only Sandbach pub which still has a thatched roof. It’s also notable in that the highwayman Dick Turpin is said to have had drinks there when in Sandbach. Turpin is mainly associated with Yorkshire as he was hanged in York but is said to have visited some Cheshire villages. This may just be folklore but it’s entertaining folklore.

Cheating is probably the only way Andy can win.
