So real it’s almost not funny…

Red Green: “If the women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.”

I saw a handyman ad for prices stating if husband “helps” it is 30% added to bill.

@Linguist Today’s strip IS funny , Flo and Chalkie’s wife gossiping about Betty dating Dave because he is handy with his tools even the regular ones as being an ulterior motif sets Flo thinking about her hubby our HERO Mr Andrew Capp being useless at both , he is so lazy that he hasn’t show up for his own strip :o), my avatar is a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring his head off with frustration like I am at losing my wallet and the hassle I will have to replace my ID card, driving license , credit card , and the wallet itself which used to belong to my dad :o{ come avete passato la vostra giornata mio piu meno vecchio Amicho? our Saturday should be very busy , but we will cope I hope , already done our bulk shopping ,mood temperamental for both , but at least we have each other , keep safe and a bientot pal

he’s probably good with hammer and nails. And those things that you twist into holes and their drivers.

That is so very sexist. My ex-wife put up some shelves all on her own, we could not put much weight on them but she did manage to do it. I showed the correct rawplug she should have used and a few days later she had replaced them and the shelves were just fine. She managed to break a few finger nails and trapped her finger once, after that I was responsible for DIY around the house.

Does she need a little help with her ‘plumbing’ perhaps?

Those of you whining of sexism should be aware the punch line and variations are used in many bawdy old blues songs as metaphors for sex (the act, not gender). It has nothing to do with wood and nails.

So, the canal looks very wide! Reminds me of the Great Lakes…. The horizon is the water.

I’ll bet Betty will get more done with her boy friend than she would with a husband.

I heard this morning on NPR some pubs ran out of beer. It’s because people had been wanting to go back to them for so long there was pent-up demand.

Red Green says “If the women don’t find you handsome, they’ll at least find you handy.” Andy is neither of those. Like Red, he does enjoy a good beer, though.

Am I the only one that when women in this strip speak, I hear the Monty Python guys as women?
