I guess those two had better hop onto the Pub. Before they become flat broke, and very bitter. But Chalkie is a good and stout friend indeed to help Andy ferment a good cheer.

We also have a pub called The Coach And Horses here in Chester.

In Duddon, near Chester, there used to be a pub called The Headless Woman which referred to a legend dating back to the English Civil War. Sadly, the pub closed down about ten years ago and has since been demolished. Other headless-woman themed pubs have names like The Quiet Woman and The Silent Woman. Pubs with these names usually depict the woman as being headless.

Oh, so he’s going to the stable by the racetrack.

Going to the bars every night – unfortunately I think this too real for a lot of people. I’m beginning to understand the rationale for prohibition back in the day.
