Actually, there are reported sightings of the Loch Ness Monster almost every year. There was a year earlier this century that was remarkable for being one of the few years with no reported sightings of Nessie.
Back in the 1970s, I had a teacher who not only believed in the Loch Ness Monster but in a family of monsters in Loch Ness. She had a copy of a book called “A Family Of Monsters” which argued that theory. I now have a copy of a book called “A Monstrous Commotion” which looks at the controversy between scientists over whether it really is possible for a monster or family of monsters to have survived from the dinosaur age in Loch Ness.
I saw a TV program the other day about Lock Ness, one of the things it was saying is that the monster reports started when ships got motors and they were showing how a bow wave bouncing off the shores could leave what appeared be serpent further back. Why only when motors appeared, because before then bow waves were always from sailing ships and they were never happened in calm water.
I bet when Andy ever does open his wallet a few moths will fly out. Haha.

I’m pleased to say that Lent is going really well. Last night I installed “Scrabble Go” onto my phone where I play against other people. I currently have 2 matches on the go. I’m signed up as a new player but I’m not new to the game. I’ve played before. It’s full of scammers though. You can always tell by the profile picture they have on and when they send a message to you the “script” is very familiar too.
I don’t tend to use the chat feature. I want to play the game. That’s all.
He had to give up a 20 the other day when he won at the horses and Norris was telling everyone at the pub though I don’t think there was a wallet on that strip, just the 20.

There are a number of people—real and comic-strip—that I wish Nessie would gobble up.
But, then again—I’d hate for the poor creature to get sick!!

While Nessie is rarely spotted in Loch Ness, Andy can frequently be seen in Hartlepool Canal.

Why would Andy even have a wallet? He never has money long enough to use it.

Andy’s wallet sighting could be an episode of Believe it or Not.

Uhh . . . I thought the Loch Ness Monster waited for Andy in the canal. Maybe at home?

Andy’s wallet is as mythical and elusive as Nessie.

The majority of Loch Ness Monster sightings happen in the first hour after the pubs close.
(It’s true! i read it on the internet.)

My theory is that the Loch Ness Monster is actually an alligator that got flushed down the toilet and somehow ended up in the Loch.
