I don’t get it!

I think it has to do with the size of the steak and the size of the platter??

I’m sure she didn’t consider the size of the ‘platter’ he requested; surely she didn’t mean to expose his shrinkage!

Time to buy smaller platters.

I just hate it when meat shrinks like that.

Honestly, I thought it was a hamburger. Guess you couldn’t hold one by the edge like that, though.

G’pa always said to do butchering during the waining of the moon to prevent a lot of shrinking when cooking………

Pa said cut ditchbanks on certain phase of moon and it wouldn’t grow back.
