There are a lot of secrets I’d like to learn from the Bumsteads.

Dagwood eats huge piles of food and stays slim..They had their 75th anniversary years ago… but their kids are still teenagers…They both still work….even their dog is still healthy.

    It’s a charmed life.

I like for postal workers, UPS, FEDEX, etc… to be part of the neighborhood. When they know an area they know when something is out of place.

Ya’ll are missing the real impending drama here. Wait to Arlo drops in for one of his bath visits/ogles and discovers the opaque water. I guess he’s just going to have to feel his way through the situation.

I had somewhat expected Arlo to pop his head out of water in the last frame.

He looks like a UPS guy, judging from the color of the uniform. Ours usually just sets our package on the step, knocks twice lightly, and walks away. But then again, I’ve never ordered anything that needed to be signed for.

My UPS guy IS a part of the neighborhood. When I see him coming I stand on the curb with a bottle of cold water for him . . . even if I’m not expecting a delivery.

Our UPS sometimes delivers stuff in the wrong place in our neighborhood. Of course I live half way up a hill in a holler surrounded my trees. Though Fedex has never failed us yet. UPS is learning though, it has been a whole year since they misdelivered. And it is great amusment watching them try to turn around in our parking area

Taking a bath is not necessarily to get clean. It relaxes tired, sore muscles, and generally helps to restore one to a good frame of mind after a bad day. Add some bubbles and a book to the ritual and that’s heaven. If you don’t like the idea of the grey water residue than have a quick rinse under the shower. The cost of the water is waaaay cheaper than a therapist.

It’s only opaque from a low angle. It’s clear from the postman’s angle.

Such a waste of water, a shower uses far less water. Now if you like taking baths in gray water then maybe…"-ALL water is recycled on a global scale.-What’s more, Arlo secretly (previously known only to him and me) installed a solar distillery to directly distill all the water they use in their bath tub.It has been recycled 7300 times. still using the same molecules of dihydrogen oxide.

At work we sell and repair chainsaws. UPS once by mistake delivered a shipment of bars and chain to the pizza place about a mile down the road. They called us to come and get it. The manger is like “Come on now, our pizza is not that tough”

Our UPS guy does not even ring the doorbell, just drops it on the front steps and leaves – even if it is raining, even if it says signature required, even if it the Friday before a school vacation (and raining) and you might be away for a week. This is better, however, than Airborne Express which drives through the circular drive and tosses it out the window. Fed Ex is no better. That is why we don’t order anything unless we absolutely have to or they will send by USPS

Everyone I know who lives in a city keeps their doors locked. It might not always be necessary, but if you get in the habit, then you’ll never forget. We don’t all live in safe small towns with friendly neighbors. There are times during the day when there is no one on my street and anyone could just walk right in and back out with the contents of the house.

Nothing strange about the delivery man wandering in to the bathroom, and calmly asking the naked lady for a signature.
