Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for August 29, 2013
Transcript:
Janis: It wouldn't hurt you to organize your seasonal wardrobe! Arlo: I already have! Janis: You have? Arlo: Sure! My winter clothes are on the right side of my closet... Arlo: And all my summer things are on the left! Arlo: I could switch them if it would make you feel better!

AC is so cold where I work I do not have “seasonal Wardrobe” issues. Long sleeve shirts and pants year round. Just have to decide if I need a heavy jacket or not.

Once again Jimmy demonstrates the difference between men and women correctly….

The problem with America (climatically speaking) is that the line across America below which summer is just too damn hot is on the wrong side of the line above which winter is outrageously cold.

I used to have to harass hubby about putting away his winter clothing, until the year he pulled out a lambs wool sweater we’d bought in Scotland and discovered is was full of moth holes. Problem solved.

I put my winter clothes away in the summer but I keep a pair or 2 of jeans and a couple of long sleeve shirts just in case and in the winter I keep a couple of pair of crop pants and short sleeved shirts just in case…….I live in Texas and it is as likely to be 85 in January or February as it is to be 58 in the morning with a high of 72 in June so I kind of keep a half way wardrobe all year long. lol

Shorts and tee’s 5-6 months, jeans and tee’s with appropriate cover the rest of the time. Work boots for tractor seat time and New Balance for the rest.

Lived all my life in southern California – never had a winter wardrobe. Now I’ve moved to northern Idaho and might have to think about it. We’ll see.

Oh, I disagree. I have tee shirts, jeans and sweatshirts and some dress stuff for work and a party we might get invited to every few years. Cold weather – sweatshirt over tee shirt. Husband has to change shirts seasonally and it is a major production. He also has a different jacket for, it seems, every 5 degrees. I have a light jacket for rain in hot weather, a ski type jacket, and a coat I bought when I went to work regularly and needed something dressier. He must have 6 winter jackets.
