saw the cats in our neighborhood doing this very thing back in December when we had snow and ice. Finally they just gave up and bounced over to the porch that was dry……..love to watch cats.
We’ve seen him out in the snow before, many times, but this is the first time we’ve seen him having a problem with it. I take it that the snow is wetter and stickier than normal?
Neighbor back north had a (mostly) black Persian/something mix that LOVED LOVED LOVED the snow. Name was Midnight, but when he walked onto the porch still covered in snow, his temporary name was Bleach.
My first cat, Tiger, would leap through the snow in the backyard like a deer in an attempt to keep his tummy dry; it didn’t work out too well, but it was funny to watch.

It’s always fun to watch cats get all dingle-footed in the snow

my cat, Mao, loves the snow, but was upset by it for the first time this year— there was just so much of it until the other day!
