I’d like to see some strips about the kids and how the restaurant is doing(or not!). We’re about due for finding out what happened.

I agree; how’s the restaurant doing?

For me, Lake Michigan sunsets are the best, but barring that, (which is most of the time,) nothing beats the cool of the early morning, listening to the songbirds’ serenade. Just as spring has replaced fall as my favorite season, so, too, has morning replaced evening as my favorite time of day. I’m sure it has something to do with growing older, and hope.

My Dad was active till his 80’s. Still living at 99. he is amazing.

Reply to Bawana: Your acerbic comment demonstrates that youth is wasted on the young. If growing old is offensive to you, don’t forget: when you get close to 60, you have a ready alternative to the life you describe so callously.

Um…the strip is called “Arlo and Janis”!!

I don’t think Luddy has the oomp to go after the bird. Why should he? He’s well fed – and lazy.

Don’t get out and enjoy life much, do ya?

Here in the Deep South, mornings are the only tolerable time of the day to be outdoors.

Once on Hi and Lois, the children were watching the sunrise and one commented that the sunrise is as pretty as a sunset and wondered why it wasn’t spoken of as much..The other said “It doesn’t have a good time slot."

Long mornings in bed are the best!
