So sad… so lovely…

Parting is such sweet sorrow, mainly sorrow but sweet memories soon.

Don’t Arlo and Janis still own a sailboat down by where the kids work? For the huge expense of a boat, they seem to spend precious little time on it.

This recent theme of a visit with Gene & family didn’t seem to settle any outstanding issues

Only in looks. Meg has a sweet disposition and knows she is loved.

Rudy thinks Meg needs a cat……

This is so like every time my granddaughter leaves my house. I run to the end of the driveway and wave as she is driven away… (sigh)

Look at the sad, serious Arlo.So well done, speaks volumes without a word.

Just going through the same process today. Been a wonderful 3 days in beautiful South Haven, Michigan. Then children and grandchild back to Columbus, Oh.

say goodbye cause won’t see them for awhile. back to iPhone and cat gags.

I guess the kids are doing alright, if they can drive a huge SUV now. I remember them moving into that broken-down fixer-upper house, barely able to get by.
