Sometimes that’s the way to find a new favorite place.

Gene and Mary Lou had always dreamed of a French themed restaurant but with a local connection, serving good food from fresh produce and voila, the Bayou Bistro.

Sorry to rehash yesterday’s comments but I did a little digging into JJ’s world and found Mary Lou is almost a year older than Gene and she has an older sister who is estranged from the family. Gus has grandkids he has never seen. His first wife, Mary Lou’s mother, left him to live in LA, and his second wife has passed. All of these things can age a man.

As Yogi Berra purportedly once saged; “Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.”

I snot the Bistro on the beach also???

Who cares why? It’s business.

It’s like the old song, “She don’t know she’s beautiful”

I guess Gene was never good at adding 2+2?

Not very encouraging, but at least you’re making some money.

Most of the time, those comments are from folks with big egos and think they deserve better. I saw one waitress tell a customer “Well please leave, we have nice regulars waiting to get in.”

Another coloring slip…or else, between panels 3 and 4, Arlo must have spilled a pot of grey soup on his apron.

But that’s how people find out YOUR place is cool too!! And not the trendy overpriced restaurant to be seen at!
