Most people are not stupid. They are “willfully ignorant” due to their pride. Everyone makes mistakes that embarrass them. There are several ways to deal with it.
The most mature way is to simply accept them and move on, “Boy, that was dumb; I’m not doing that again.”
However most people simply deny the act. “I never did it. It wasn’t me.”
Others still, blame it on someone else, “It was rigged. Somebody was out to get me.”
Still others invoke the “Two wrongs make a right” deflection technique. “If so-and-so did it, you wouldn’t be on their case.” or “Everybody does it.” In hopes that the attention then is focused on defending the newly-accused person rather than condemning the deflector.
A corollary to this is the “Prove to me that you’re right.” I have no proof that the election was rigged, but I don’t have to prove it. You have to prove to me that the election was NOT rigged.
And finally there are those who “double down.” “I’m not wrong, I’m right and I have proof (which is never forthcoming or attributed to ‘them,’ ‘they say,’ ’I’ve heard’ and ‘everybody knows’). All those so-called facts you are telling me are fake news made up by the liberal media.”
Well I suppose you could use the tRump vaccine. Not the COVID vaccines currently available as he had nothing to do with them. I’m speaking of the true tRump vaccine that he personally developed. 2 parts Clorox, 1 part Lysol.
But you CAN prevent it. It’s called parenting and education, and that includes the parents actually making sure their children are paying attention to their education.
Absolutely true. And in the interest of peace, harmony and the optimism of a new year, I’ll say nothing further about the stupidity of Trump, the Republicans in Congress who still support him and plan to make needless trouble on Wednesday, and — OOPS!

AS Jimmy Buffett says in his song “Permanent Reminder of a Temporary Feeling” – “…there is NO dumb-ass vaccine.”

We don’t know what we don’t know. This should be taught in schools. (Yeah, right.)

Nobody ever likes admitting that they are wrong.

If that vaccine worked maybe more people would lay the blame for covid where it belongs instead of blaming politicians.

They can’t produce enough vaccine for that

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits. Author unknown.

Well, you Can, but vaccinating people with Cyanide is frowned on and is bound to make the Neighbors gossip about you.
