Well, the kids are in bed... What's on TV? I'll look. Friends, Pals, Buddies, Amigos, Chums or Acquaintances. Is it just me, or are all the shows on TV starting to look the same? Then there's Seinfeld, Schmindfeld, Renfeld...
That’s the way TV has been since I was a kid. Everything seems to run in popularity cycles. When one show becomes a hit, all the other networks want to jump on the band wagon. You’ll get several years where westerns are the big thing, then detective shows, medical dramas, sci-fi, secret agents, adventures, rom-coms, etc. Now that there are hundreds of cable channels, the trend has accelerated.
