Mommy, can Keesha come over to play? I think she's at soccer camp this week. Then can Bogart come over? He has horseback riding lessons on Tuesdays, remember? And Kelly has swimming lessons, and Maddie has baseball, and Diana takes karate. Oh yeah. Do I have any friends that are too busy to have fun?

Basically life. It continues on through adolescence, into adulthood… Everyone’s too busy to hang out.

Probably, all those kids would rather just be playing with each other, rather than being enrolled in all those activities by their parents.

Zoe is still in preschool and Keisha is younger than she is. I imagine all of the other kids are of about the same age. Seems kind of young to be starting soccer camp, et al. Let them at least start kindergarten before filling up their summers with such activities.
