I remember when I was younger you used cigar boxes for everything, even though they might have smelled like cigar. Today’s cigar boxes aren’t quite the same.

The only thing I have quickly is that cigar boxes were common as small keepers of keepsakes.

Whatever Mr. Hart had in mind when he drew this didn’t come across in the finished version. It makes no sense at all as evidenced by all the comments.

We took cigar boxes for our pencils and stuff in grade school. I loved the sweet smell.
