Again with the echoes of Samuel Beckett… a swing hanging down from nowhere. Actually, had Beckett written this, the swing would have been withdrawn before Ike could sit down. Guest appearance by Eric Scott? Can’t be God, as my friend Laura Barge pointed out, the Heaven of Samuel Beckett is empty.

Now that you’ve started moving, use the force (of your legs) to go higher, Ike. If you swing high enough, you can see what’s above the panel.

!!! Spoiler alert for anyone that plays Wordle !!!

Nudge happens to be today’s Wordle answer. I’m sure there’s a connection.

I got to _udge and then went through budge, fudge and judge first and ran out of guesses.

    The Swing

    Robert Louis Stevenson

    1850 –1894

How do you like to go up in a swing,

Up in the air so blue?

Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing

    Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,

Till I can see so wide,

River and trees and cattle and all

    Over the countryside—

Till I look down on the garden green,

Down on the roof so brown—

Up in the air I go flying again,

Up in the air and down!
