It is as I feared……gentrification has come to Tackleford. Soon enough, there will be fancy cafes and pubs all over the place, and all the pre-existing pubs there will have to start acting fancy to keep getting clientele; maybe start serving French fries with goat cheese, sweet Thai chili sauce or something crazy like that. Dogs will start to get smaller and more yappy, property taxes will skyrocket, and older tenants will be pushed further out into the suburb. On the plus side, we may also be getting a new street-light.
