The guy on the left appears to be “Grumpaw”, a character who’ll appear in a later Bad Machinery chapter (“The Case of the Forked Road”). The guy dragging the ukulele is definitely Mad Terry. The guy with the headphones is probably Eustace Boyce (“The Boy”), although Eustace usually has a large curl of hair sticking up in the front. But it’s probably safe to say it’s him. And the guy on the right looks like Len Pickering, Amy’s dad. (Not enough detail to say who the two girls are.)
Both this page and the previous one are both new for the remastered edition.
Mildly interesting: My family name is associated with Clan Menzies, which is pronounced the same way as the store name. Wonder if the store pictured is based on the Menzies booksellers.
