It is unfortunate that in the 2020s most have forgotten what sin is, or feel it does not exist. The entire meaning behind this past week, and in particular tomorrow’s celebration of the Day of Ressurection has nothing to do with colored eggs, chocolate bunnies or Easter Bonnets. It has everything to do with “the Lamb of God, who takes away the SIN of the world,” for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin and without the perfect sacrifice of Jesus on the cross there would be no HOPE for salvation from the sin in the world. Pesach Shalom and may the blood shed for the remission of you sin, be applied to your doorpost and to your heart so that the angel of death may pass over you and you might have eternal life through Him who died for your sin.

I didn’t know they were United Methodists. It’s not a proper church function unless somebody cooks.
