I agree people funded someone to make potato salad. I certainly would send Baldo a ten to help. Patreon is another option if you post a youtube channel of the process.

As a nonCPA accountant I have to take classes annually to be able to continue to charge for returns I prepare. Since I have a rather limited practice of less than 10 people, all retired seniors with no children and no businesses I try to find classes which might actually be of use to me or something I have not worked with. I have taken classes on crowdfunding a couple of times and who and how the fund is set up affects whether or not what is received is taxable income – setting one up for one’s self is one of the factors leaning towards it being taxable income.
