    There are people who won’t listen. Period. Their way of doing everything is right, and they won’t take any advice and resent you making the effort. Sometimes it is because they do, indeed, know what they’re doing better than you. And sometimes they simply can’t admit there is any other way but their own – and will light a match to look for a gas leak.

    It would be far better to learn from her. BTW, is lengua casserole really that bad? I’ve had tongue sliced and cooked on a hibachi and liked it. Sure it’s chewy, but I still would at least try it.
