Food pantries prefer donations in dollars, not food.

The prices I’m seeing for that model are more like $4000-$8000. Baldo got ripped off.

Why do we need food pantries? Since we send billions to foreign Countries, surely we have taken care of our own first. We let millions of people come illegally into our Country and we house, cloth, give free medical, and feed them. Why would we ever need a food pantry to feed our own? Just makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

There is a website in the last panel that will direct people where, and how to donate. If YOU donated, you would know that food pantries accept ALL donations, not all food is perishable.

I liked this ending. This could’ve easily helped the low rider along….but he choose to do something selfless. I also like how Sergio didn’t get mad at the idea of selling it.

If $1,750 was the retail price he would have been lucky to get $1,200 from a jeweler/pawn store.

I’d be very proud of a son who did what Baldo did – a mature, caring choice. Baldo has been raised well to be a contributing menber of society.
