Her last statement is logically unsound. If she’s telling the truth, then the coffee does make her lie, so she’s lying. If she’s lying, the coffee is making her tell the truth, so she is telling the trurh.
Check her into the Betty Ford Center … she’s a junkie. ShaAaAame her! (Alas, there’s no good way to represent the “Bible-thumper’s vibrato” on that cry of “Shame,” but try to imagine it, straight out of fiction and Reality™.)
Husband made me throw out the instant coffee a couple of years ago. He has this thing about the expiration dates on food items. :-) I had the coffee as I used to drink same decades ago and then, later, we would have both our families in for Thanksgiving dinner and then one of the religious holidays each (Jewish and Roman Catholic) during the year. Same jar would last for years – but during the great “S-it, a lot of this food is WAY past its use by date” clean out by my husband during the early part of Covid when he had nothing to do, it was tossed out and since we had not anyone visit us in several years already by that point nor since – have not bought any to replace it.

It looks like Gracie makes coffee like my 23 year old daughter – up to twice the amount of grounds per cup that my mother likes.
