Stubby has taken to the bag so well. It was a struggle at first but now he wears it everywhere. Kinda hard to take him for a walk because he bumps into trees and fire hydrants.
Sparky is also a small dog admirer, you know…especially if they’re of the female persuasion…..
Sometimes…. well…when they’re all on pedestals like that…cute little tails a-wag…. and…. sigh….. I mean…. how’s a fellow supposed to resist having a peek….
Time for another session with pet therapist Roger AddersleySubject: “Impulse Control.”
Much as I love dogs, I have to admit, I am not a big fan of small dogs.
I have always preferred larger pets, like my pet Zebra, Zeke, who is well known ( if not totally appreciated ) by the good neighbors in Ballard. I grant you that Zeke’s penchant for petunias can be somewhat off putting, to some of the serious gardeners in the neighborhood, but you have to admit, Zeke is gentle, doesn’t bark or bite ( although, true, he’s been known to occasionally kick an unsuspecting bent down bottom ), and he is housebroken.
Zeke has a special permit from Sherif and sometimes, acts as a school crossing guard, and a football referee for Ballard High School and Juvenile Detention Center.
Compared to that yappy little Miss Millie High Maintenance mutt, who has pretension of pedigree, far beyond her parents past, my Zebra, Zeke is hands paws hoofs down, a better pet and a good pal !
Beviek – that tree with the swinger is beautiful. I think that trees without their leaves are so expressive. I take pictures of ones I like and paint them into landscapes.
STELThis issue I will save and refer to! I have a stack of past issues I use to prop up display a lovely fern in the den.I will re-new my subscription tomorrow after my hair appt. at Susan’s, Good thing your office (Stel and MellO’Dell) is next door.

Rats have gotten such better publicity since they learned how to bark.
