Maybe Ted should have fed Scooter before getting on the roof.

I warned Ted. I told him “Scooter’s been watching you real careful around the workshop lately, and I think I saw him taking notes.” But he pooh-pooh’ed it, of course. Now look where that’s got him.

Maybe you can get down the remaining half ladder, Ted. But I think I would wait for back-up.

I wonder if he thinks that when I said roof I was swearing at him?

It would have been easier and faster to just move the ladder… but not funnier!

Oh Scooter Scooter Scooter… Remember Roxanne? Well when Ted saw her coming by the house, he put Scooter in the back bedroom lest he got out.

Scooter is responsible for several “accidents” and 32 puppies. Ted is mightily tired of paying other people’s vet bills. So…

Scooter, on the other hand, believes that Ted is thwarting his destiny.

Ted better watch his back.

See that Ted? Scooter didn’t miss out on everything at obedience school. In fact, it was right next to a carpentry class, and just down the hall from the remedial class for juvenile delinquents.

You might wonder how you’re going to get down.

After a moment of reflection Ted wonders if a dog is really mans best friend and how he may have wronged Scooter

Scooter’s long in memory, but short on forgiveness !

He came, he sawed, he conquered…

I saw that coming (did you see saw coming?)…

Ted is rung out.

The next time you need roofing done, Ted, splurge a little and hire someone to do it for you.

He’s a construction dog in a destruction mood. Enjoy the roof!

Scooter’s ticked off because it’s his roof that needs fixing, and Ted doesn’t need a ladder for that.

Could’ve been worse – the dog could’ve sawed through the underside of the top few rungs but not completely through…
