Too “on the nose”. Even after ten years together my second wife couldn’t tell people what I did for a living. I ran an IT support business out of our house. It was a form of “snob amnesia”. Her previous husband had been a million-dollar-a-year lawyer, which she would mention to complete strangers. :) :(
