    Knowledge is not a destination, it is a journey. Most in our society never really start, or quit because thinking is “too hard.”

    Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it. As a society, we do not learn, let alone understand history.And we are repeating it. Do a search on “Cleon” and “Athens.” When you read about him, you may, with a little thought, realize that we have someone just like him, called “Donald Trump.” Then search on “Alcibiades” and “Athens.” We also have one just like him, called “Hillary Clinton.”

    In case you don’t know, the Peloponnesian Wars ended very badly for both the victors and the vanquished. I anticipate similar results in the modern era.
