A thwart in a boat.
A platform on which animals, especially dogs, are exhibited.
To show (dogs) in a bench show.
A level, narrow stretch of land interrupting a declivity.
A level elevation of land along a shore or coast, especially one marking a former shoreline.
English, right?
The bench is also where basic scientific research happens (as opposed to applied research, which happens in the clinic or the real world).
Time to bench this conversation.
And if you’re a Bench Dog, you make planing safer.
