I did this as a kid at a 7-11. I liked the “3 Musketeers” candy bar. I purchased one, got outside the store and took a large bite. The candy was old and the yummy nougat center was brittle. I took it right back and the man at the counter let me grab another… same story with the second, and as I stood at the counter with my third “3 Musketeers” bar he looked at me and told me to get a different kind of candy bar.
I was with some guys in the college Sweet Shop having some ice cream and someone said, “Yikes” and pointed to a fly near the bottom of his parfait glass. The guy then entertained and disgusted us by eating the ice cream down to just above where the fly was then taking it back to the soda fountain for a refund. I sure miss my college days.
