After knowing my wife for 30 years, I no longer get the ‘kicked in the nuts’ routine. Now I am treated to the monthly plea, “Make it stop!!” I suppose I would be yelling the same thing if she ever followed through on her efforts to help me feel her pain.
And this is why I love being post-menopausal! Not that I ever had bad cramps – just the feeling that I was coming down with the flu for one day out of every 28 or so.
I saw a comedian once (alas, I disremember his name) doing a routine on this shopping; said he doesn’t understand guys who have a problem with it – mimed holding the package in the air, saying “I have a woman! What’s that you have there? Penthouse magazine? I have a woman!!!”
We got married on Saturday. By Wednesday she had 102+ temperatures from the flu and ladytimes started. I did not expect a wedding vows practical exam and review.

That Scott Meyer!?! His book, “Off to to be the Wizard” was a very good read!! And not reference to “Ladytimes”.

Not a gunshot wound, but I did use them as dressings after surgery on the doctor’s recommendation 30 years ago. They’re absorbent and easy to change.
