I was out walking this morning. At one point the sidewalk is elevated about 6 feet and the grass slopes down into a flat field. The field was filled with fog hugging the ground. It was the first time I was above the clouds and not in an airplane or on a mountain.
As a student pilot I once landed solo cross country at another airport. As I came in on final approach, the airfield disappeared. I could see enough of the runway to complete my landing. As I went to get my log book signed off and the guy asked, “How did you manage to land?”
I told him that the fog was only about 10 feet high and that you can’t even see it when looking down on it. I waited for about 30 minutes for it to burn off and then took off for my next destination.

Dino stuck his/her head up through the cloud. The rain in that cloud ran down his body and puddled at his feet but he/she saw the sun!
