Potholes…we don’t get ice, BUT we got potholes. It takes a talent to miss them!

Driving over an ice filled pothole on one wheel will add a bit of excitement to the morning commute.

I was once visiting a remote mountain site with my commanding officer. He was driving (BAD idea). As we were bouncing from rut to rut he apologized stating, “I’m trying to spare you as many of these potholes as I can.” My reply was, “Don’t worry, sir. I’m sure you’ll catch the ones we missed on the way back down.”

    I got promoted anyway.

If the don’t fill them in the fall the freeze thaw cycle makes them bigger.

Give it a few weeks and the potholes will be filled in with a glacier. Then they’ll need a 4 wheel drive wheel to get around with. yip yip yip yip yip

In the mean time start making different ice-cone flavors. When the glacier arrives shave some off and serve flavored ice-cones. Yip yip yip yip yip

Must be the road I live on. Pot holes all the way down it. And the county has no money for road repairs..

Better put some snow cleats on those wheels or you’ll be " Slip Sliding Away"
