Rules of Golf 11.1b1: When Ball Comes to Rest on Any Person, Animal or Moving Outside Influence Located Anywhere Except on Putting Green.

The player must drop the ball in the estimated point right under where the ball first came to rest on the person, animal or moving outside influence, within one club-length not nearer the hole than the estimated point.

In other words, he drops a ball right under his nose.

Tradition has it he now has to buy the house a round.

Why is it that in frame #2 the ball is in his right nostril but in frame #3 the ball is in his left nostril?
