A lot less painful than the years of nagging

Not only ants can carry 10 times (or 100?) their weights, but also conduct 1M times their electric bill.

Shocking.

TV in B.C.?

My house has a good electrical ground system and all my critical computer equipment is isolated with uninterruptable power supplies. The rest have surge protectors.

I lost a router to a lightning strike. It hit about 500 feet from the house. I theorize that an electromagnetic pulse took the router out.

Can I have some chocolate!?

Like Mom said “don’t sit so close to the TV you’ll go blind.” Pretty much everything back in the day would make you go blind.

Oh, and by the way, avoid human kids with magnifying glasses.

Ants have outside antennas?

Ah yes, I remember being warned about that as a kid. Was it ever actually a thing?

That was a rather shocking episode.

Must be grounded, especially outdoor antennas with the new all electronic TVs.

They have underground cable like todays cities have, therefore no antenna except for the ants antenna. That’s my thought for whatever it’s worth.

If you’re in an ant burrow, you have no choice but to be “pretty close”.

Is that what happened to my kids brain?
