Yes, my kids don’t like my music either. We didn’t care for our parents’ Lawrence Welk much, so not surprising. At least I can handle listening to their music for a while – I taught them that the volume knob doesn’t need to be cranked up the whole way. Plus, they like instrumental (orchestra) music, which is much better than the “music” other kids their age prefer.I like using the radio app to get the talk radio that isn’t available in my market. Great for podcasts too.For music, I just rip my CD’s, and use the music player. No data used then.
Never heard of Van Morrison before, but when trying to listen to ‘brown eyed girl’ made me think of a slowed down version of ‘this charming man’ (the Smiths). Then I found out they were nothing alike

I once asked some sweet young thing if her Golden Oldies station could play some Glen Miller. “Who’s he?”

Van Morrison is timeless! Even the kids would like him!

Waze! I have to commute to my volunteer job at the blind center during morning rush hour in Phoenix. I live and die by Waze.

I agree with Junior; Van M. isn’t my first pick, but he probably wouldn’t like my jazz preferences either.

Gangsta Rap is so much better… Looking forward to getting old so I can enjoy it when I’m a senior ;-)

Hard for me to choose between Elvis and the Beatles. Guess we’re all telling our ages!
