Those darn captchas are annoying and don’t do anything but slow you down.

I wonder if AIs have special sites they go to where they have to prove that they’re not human first.

An employer seeking new workers uses a captcha service at the end of a lengthy application routine on his website. Everytime I wasn’t able to decipher all the obfuscated symbols it’d send me to the first question of the emptied again forms. I then sent my application by eMail, but they refuse to accept any application except via the web forms “for data protection reasons”.

I tells about the way they expect the work to be done, I guess. Didn’t gave it another try.

I hate the ones that make you choose pictures – they’re the worst. “Pick all the images with traffic lights” – well, there’s one that has a part of a traffic light showing way up in a corner that I didn’t see. Or like someone else pointed out, they’ll ask for buses but also expect you to pick trucks.

You know what you’re really doing, don’t you? They use those to train AIs to do image recognition!

Is there a joke in this cartoon? If there is, I don’t see/get it.
