I loved Art class. That’s where I went when I got kicked out of one other class where the teacher did not want my father to know because he knew my father would beat me. So I just showed up at Art class and hung out. The teacher was cool with it.

Aah yes, school… Where subjects that actually matter get kicked out while the useless ones stay in. In my high school, IT/Computer science got erased from the curriculum, even though it’s one of the most important classes to learn these days because of how quickly technology changes and advances…

Mr.Rosa & Coach John will tag team an adolescent Hygiene program featuring Kim as teacher Assistant!

I really would like to see this arc go somewhere instead of it just being instantly resolved by having Mr. Rosa keep his job, it really be a newfresh idea to the series. Maybe Mr. Rosa will find a better job that he can find better joy in and have better pay.

It’s sad how this is realistic.

When I was in eighth grade, our school district was faced with a similar situation. We kids learned the meaning of the term “austerity budget” real fast. My middle school let us vote on which course would be cut; our choices were music, art, or home ec/shop. Since most of us were involved in band or chorus after school anyway, we chose music. Never in a million semesters would we let art get cut.

Isn’t this the same issue in Diary of a wimpy kid wrecking ball where Greg said the school will cut the school budget when everyone failed on the test

You know what would be cool? If Nate and his friends start a boycott or something, make a petition to get Mr. Rosa back, and then make a fundraiser to get Mr. Rosa back. Those would be cool, plus Mr. Peirce would be able to have a good opportunity to make the strips funny! Think about what he could do with a boycott, petition, and fundraiser!
