Why is he using similar dialogue from an arc over ten years ago

Yesterday’s was still funny, even if reused. This one, however, is too stock. We ALWAYS get a story from his past, and this one is too by the numbers to stand out. The last line is so boring no wonder Francis thinks he blocked it out.

Okay, now School Picture Guy is being kinda weird. Calling an eleven-year-old boy’s lips “luscious”? Ergh…

Maybe they botched the tummy tuck by going in through his head, and that explains the mysterious bandage that never goes away.

Pls don’t make this a SPG arc.

5/10 This strip is a little bland. We get his stories from his past all the time with Nate except this time it’s with Francis. Otherwise, I’m really liking the arc this week and can’t wait to see how it ends. I hope Peirce keeps Francis’s lips like this for another week or so, just to have it there and be funny. Or he could expand this arc with Francis’s lips. Peirce is in a good position right now for this arc.

Looking at your gut tells me it didn’t work, sir.
