I like Nate’s idea already.
This isn’t gonna be a good poem
A funny idea but might not go well
Careful, Peirce. This is a family-friendly strip.
I’ve usually heard it as "Nantucket ’.
can one of u guys explain what the forth strip is?!?
u guys liked yesterdays poll so here’s another one a bit more personal thoof all honesty were u the npc in school the teachers pet or class clown?
…who lived in a big iron bucket.
On a thunderstorm day
his home died away
because of the lightning that struck it.
There once was a clown from Nantucket
Attempted a trick with a bucket.
Preferred (on the whole) just to duck it.
Limericks…classic
Where even is Pawtucket?
Is Pawtucket Nantucket’s husband? Together, they sound like little Tommy Tucket’s grandparents on his father’s side.
Hey, that’s a poem. A classic fixed form, in fact. It’s like a sonnet.
i guess it’s pretty funny. 6/10
I wonder how it got from a painting to a poem
“…He then told his friend to go…”
Knuckles trailer just lanuched
Use the one from May 27 of last year. Daphne’d be thrilled!!
6/10, um, what poem is that? I have never heard of it.
POLL how long have you been using gocomics and why did you start using it
Looked up the poem. Yeah, this isn’t a good idea Nate 0_o
who liked to go to nantucket…but he couldn’t find his bucket…so he said aw …
I just looked up the poem Nate’s thinking of. Mr. Rosa likely shouldn’t allow Nate to do that poem.
There was once a man from Nantucket…
Strip rating: 6/10 He’s going to paint something inappropriate, isn’t he?
Good Morning! This could go good or this could go bad. Overall Rating: 6/10
….limerick…..which, as was once quoted in an old Broom Hilda strip “contains an uncouth ending”……..
There once was a man
From Nantucket, and he was
Confused by Haikus.
greetings from june 15th, 2004 (I came here from there)
Poll: Who’s your favorite big nate charactor excluding Nate?
I’m thinking this painting will cause quite a stir.
I think it’s called a limerick, and most of them weren’t repeatable in mixed company back in the day.
I can see it now: And This beautiful piece is from his Limerick Period.
