Well, the arc last week had a cliffhanger so that was really lame

Just like other words like “Foul!”

Uh oh. We all know dad’s throws are TERRIBLE. He’s gonna get humiliated out there!

At least this arc seems pretty original

Eh, no shame in a bad first pitch. A lot of people have done ridiculous ones. Least you could do is at least try and entertain the crowd with your pitch, so you have an excuse to be bad.

This is not what I was expecting for this week

Yay! Go ‘Dogs! (I actually don’t give a fig about baseball, but I always enjoy when the strip includes a reference to real things in Portland.)

I don’t know if Big Nate will ever be interesting if Peirce seems to get amnesia when writing the strips.

Nate’s next question will be: “Uhmmmm, this ISN’T going to be on television……..IS IT?!!!!”……..

I feel bad for fans who will be sitting directly behind home plate, because Marty’s throw will probably go over the cage…
