It’s all wax.

As a kid, I once tried to eat some wax fruit that my mother kept in a bowl on the dining table!!! I either didn’t believe it was fake, or I was very hungry!!!

What right-thinking cat could overlook this temptation?!

Have your camera ready. Get a snap of the moment that Kitty grabs the fish and runs off with it, knocking the fruit on the floor. Then paint that.

Looks good but where is the wine bottle ?

should have locked the cat out if you didn’t want it to be tempted!

Took me a full second and a half to realize that the artist was addressing the cat in the foreground.

Hope this isn’t a 3-4 day project.

You have to be a cat owner to know what is going through the painter’s mind.

Now that’s a neat trick: seeing the cat through the eye you’ve painted.

Funny idea but, of course, such a fish would have to be frozen to last a painting session. However, a cat would be likely to tip over the wine bottle, just to see what would happen. :)
