It’s not in the Koran but there is a story that the prophet Mohammed cut off the hem of his favorite robe, so he could get up without disturbing his sleeping cat.
Personally, I don’t see the conundrum here. You can either ignore the dog and let the cat lay undisturbed on your lap now or ….. you can clean up dog pee (and/or poo) off the rug in front of your door 5 minutes from now. Seems like a real no-brainer decision to me! (◔_◔)
