I hate to say it. But do recycled 1985 strips mean BB is running out of ideas? He said he was inspired to come out of retirement by the Donald’s campaign. What happens when the election is over?
I was driving a school bus and we had some temporary Aussies riding my bus. The kids were asking the oldest to talk Australian and he did. I told him it was ok, because if Texans left Texas, nobody could understand them, either. I went to California in the 1960s and the only people I that could understand me were Mexicans. On a side note, it was a very small school and it was just a fun event to make as long bus ride good.
I have a 47-inch HD flat screen sitting in front of a 32-inch HD CRT sitting on top of the empty cabinet of an RCA color TV. It’s an evolution of television diorama. I dread having to move the CRT when I move.
I’ve been trying to piece it together but, the last several days of visits with Banana, Jr., kept putting a bur-in-my-bonnet, as my grandparents used to say… just couldn’t quite place it until now BUT… he’s one of the little robots from “Silent Running,” for those 3 of you, besides me, who saw that. Douglas Trumbull taking what he learned from working with Stanley Kubrick on “2001” & doing his own feature film. Bruce Dern as the only actor and music by P.D.Q. Bach himself, Peter Schickele, in one of his rare, “serious” modes. Can’t recommend it enough – a miraculously lovely and poignant movie. And the robots(?)… even R2D2 owes to them; they started the cute robots-as-sidekicks theme in movies.

Wow, hard to remember that TVs and computer monitors were so fat at one time.

Well, that little one is a whole computer, not a monitor.
But yeah, floor model console TVs were big, more of a piece of furniture than a video screen.Kali39 almost 9 years ago

Glad to see the gang back and the rest. Is Bill back to being Bill or does he still have Trump’s brain?

It’s a good thing that the Walking Banana has a conscience. Confess, repent, and go and sin no more, son!
It’s not fair to boot sleeping cartoon penguins just to get a comical rise out of them!
