Again this is hitting a story from the early 80’s of Barney Clark, the first person to get an artifical heart. the copy about all the extra equipment and the media reporting even a roll around the grounds is pretty true to the event. The people who got those hearts rarely lived long. Some said it was the horrible gear etc but the truth was the recipients were pretty much at death’s door and so were lab rats to see how it could be made to work.
