Years ago, this was more than 30 years ago. I saw a Bloom County comic strip, where Oliver, and Opus, are arguing about the Soviet space program. Oliver was mad that the Soviets were able to send cosmonauts into space, and send probes to Mars. And Oliver says they can’t even make a decent clock radio. But Opus mentions that the Soviets can make a mean vodka. I don’t remember the exact words,
