I remember those days… the company “wear a flag pin to show your patriotism”. As the only military vet in my large department, I refused.

*Yes, I read his book. And I grew up in Appalachian Ohio. I can assure you that it is far more fiction than memoir. And far more Rust Belt that hillbilly (Hillbillies don’t grow up in cities of 51,000).
