In cryogenics lab we froze roaches and revived them testing the recovery from length of the freeze. Liquid nitrogen→microwave oven. Those little buggers are resilient!
Hopefully they will soon notice that it is missing. It may suffocate by then, as arthropods breathe though their exoskeletons and the larger they are the more strenuous it is.
