There must be a back way into that cupboard. Reminds me of the kitchen in our first apartment. We had a cat who figured out that the lower cupboards were not separate. He could go in one, let the door close behind him, and come out another.

Lupin, here and IRL, is kind of like Houdini. One does not question how he gets places. One just stares in wonder at the places he manages to fit into. Georgia talks about finding him in cupboards and drawers and on top of bric a brac on the wall.

It used to be possible for a cat to get through a hole in the tile in the bathroom & get into the cabinet in the kitchen. We found that when our tiny rescue disappeared from the bathroom one day.

I just relized that cn news has somecat with a weird thing about them. Lupins deaf puck lost a leg and Elvis ether has ocd or adhd or he’s just really old
