I think elvis stole buzzy mouse and gave it to the kitten.And he is in his dad mode again

That’s our Elvis. Crotchety, gruff old cares-only-about-himself Elvis, who melts into an emotional little puddle in the presence of babies and kittens.

Puck saying the kitten is so small and the world is so big with such a look of poignance on his face brings out a tear to my eye. And Elvis reading at her bed—- what a dear strip this is. Definitely poster worthy!

I see a new permanent resident in the household.

Elvis is the self-proclaimed guardian and protector who rightly fills the “daddy” role to the young-uns whether it be the toddler, baby, or baby kitty. He may be all puffy on the outside but he’s pure sweetness and mush on the inside. :-) And it was sweet of Pucky to give the little kitty (I won’t mention her name in case there’s peeps new to the strip) Buzzy Mouse to comfort her whilst she sleeps. Aww!

I can see Elvis not wanting to give up the kitten and will fight to keep her.

Elvis has a maternal instinct?

“Kitten is so small and the world is so big” Something in my eye . . . .

Either Elvis or Kitten managed to turn her bed so the opening is toward the radiator. We know who the ‘someone very brave’ standing guard in the doorway is, along with who’s sitting up with her.

Elvis has a soft spot that he seems to protect as much as he’s protecting the kitten.

I love every bit of this strip, especially the little glimpse at Pucks white spot near his throat, always love the boys in their bedwear, and of course cried at the “world is so big.”..line.

This and “Tommy’s Christmas”…best ever!!

This just gets better all the time, even if it is reruns. I don’t know how you do it, Georgia, but I can’t wait to get to the next installment every day. I leave this strip to the last, like eating a great dessert.
